Development Plan 2016–22 Officially Adopted

On Friday 23rd September 2016, the Elected Members of Dublin City Council officially adopted the Dublin City Development Plan 2016–2022. The new Dublin City Development Plan comes into effect on Friday 21st October 2016 and will be available for inspection, and to purchase at the following location:

Dublin City Council, Civic Offices, Planning Counter, Block 4, Ground Floor, Wood Quay Dublin 8, (9:30am-4:30pm)

The documents will also be available to view or download from Dublin City Council’s website on Friday 21st October 2016

Submissions period closes for Proposed Amendments

Between 21st June 2016 – 19th July 2016, citizens, communities and organisations were invited to make submissions on the Proposed Amendments to the Draft Plan. That submission period is now closed and Dublin City Council extends thanks to everyone who made a submission.

Note that submissions can still be made on the Supplemental Report Proposed Amendments to the Draft Development Plan. That submission period will close on August 4th 2016.

Submissions period is now open 21 June, 2016

The Draft Development Plan sets out a vision for the future of the city over the next six years.

From 21st June 2016 – 19th July 2016, citizens, communities and organisations are invited to make submissions on the Proposed Amendments to the Draft Plan. And from July 6th 2016 – August 4th 2016, submissions can also be made on the Draft Material Alterations Supplemental Report.

These submissions will be considered as part of the process to create the Plan. The Dublin City Development Plan 2016-2022 will come into effect in November 2016.
